Our mission

Our mission.

“Making goal achievement impactful, consistent, and human.”

What each word means

Three words. One standard.

Impactful

Goals should move the needle — for individuals, for teams, for organisations. Not be administrative exercises that are filled in and forgotten.

Consistent

Progress requires daily repetition. Not quarterly reviews. Not annual appraisals. Every day.

Human

Technology should amplify human ambition and capability — not replace the judgment, purpose, and motivation that make goals worth having.

The problem that drives us

The numbers are staggering.

70 % of strategic initiatives fail to deliver their intended outcomes. Not because the strategy was wrong, but because it never translated into individual daily behaviour. The average UK business loses an estimated £8,800 per employee per year in unrealised productivity from this single failure mode.

But the financial cost understates the human cost. People working hard — genuinely working hard — toward goals that were never properly connected to the thing that mattered. Employees who complete every task they’re given and still feel like they didn’t move the needle. Managers who can see the gap but don’t have the tools to close it.

This is the problem that gets us out of bed. Not because it’s a market opportunity — though it is — but because it’s the kind of problem that, once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Why we built Goalite

A behaviour change problem, not a reporting problem.

Working at Microsoft with hundreds of software companies and startups, the same pattern kept surfacing: organisations had clear strategies, capable teams, and good intentions — yet strategic goals consistently failed to translate into what people actually did each day. The tools available either tracked activity without context or set goals without closing the loop on daily execution.

The conviction behind Goalite is that this hadn’t been solved because nobody had approached it as a behaviour change problem rather than a reporting problem. OKR platforms report progress. Performance management systems score retrospectively. Neither changes what someone does on Tuesday morning. Goalite does — by embedding strategic goals into daily habits, micro-actions, and AI coaching that meet people where they are.

How we measure success

Not revenue. Impact.

Revenue matters — it sustains us. But we measure product success on three things:

01

Goal completion rates

Are people finishing what they start? Are the goals they complete genuinely meaningful?

02

Employee clarity scores

Do individuals understand how their daily work connects to strategic priorities? Do they feel it?

03

Execution gap speed

How quickly do organisations close the gap between strategic intent and individual daily action?
